What does this all mean? 
Have I simply awoke

Is the life I am living 
Simply to end in death 
Is the purpose of my breathing 
To wait for my last breath 
 
What is my purpose  
My purpose in life  
Surely not just to breed children 
And comfort my wife 
 
Why am I here 
On this planet called earth
